Disney buying Lucas Films.

So Disney has bought Lucasfilms for $4 billion in stocks and cash. I was rather excited for the fact that they would actually start making really good movies with the production part of Lucasfilms. But after reading that they will be making Star Wars parts 7, 8, and 9 I am rather disappointed in the fact that they want to dig the Star Wars movies into the ground some more after Lucas doing all his non-sense with the movies. Parts 1, 2, and 3 were not all that great to start with, 4, 5, and 6 had amazing story lines and were rather interesting to watch. What more is there to tell in this saga?

I totally understand the buying of Lucasfilms from George Lucas. Don't really think that Disney would want to keep spending their money on licensing on products and having Star Wars weekend in Walt Disney World, Star Tours, and also the little Star Wars show in Disneyland. So it was good that they bought the company but not the greatest idea to make three more Star Wars movies.

7 Psychopaths

I have seen the billboards advertising this movie. It has an amazing cast such as Collin Farrel and Christopher Walken. Went to go see it yesterday morning/afternoon. It was better then I expected it to be. Didn't know too much about it except it was about 7 psychopaths.

Rarely is there ever a movie that had a mixture of comedy, violence and psychology all in one movie. This is one of those movies. The comedy and violence came all at the right times and was never too much or too little. It was a right amount of all of them.

Silent House (spoilers)

So my fiance got this movie from Netflix because he knows how much I adore scary movies. It is a real time movie where you see the progression of what is happening in the house. There is no back story of what happened in the past or what happened in the future. You see the progression of the young girl's trip to insanity. It is a movie that you need to watch from the start of the movie because you will not understand what has happened.

The premise of the movie is Sarah is helping her father and also uncle to redirecorate the family's old lakeside home and are trying to sell it after some local teenagers smashed the windows and Her dad and uncle get into a fight about the electrical and her uncle goes off to find a electrician so that they can get some professional opinion and work on the house. The uncle is gone from most the movie. and just focuses on the dad and the girl. Though most of the movie did focus on the girl and how she started hearing noises then proceeded to start seeing things.

At the start of the movie you see the father and uncle mention photos and also hide some photos. One point the uncle picked up the photos and the girl asked what it was and he mentioned that it was trash. The end of the movie you find out that the girl was being

The movie was filmed to make it look like a first person shot film that was shot in 10 minute increments and did a good enough job to piece the movie together to make it look like it was a single shot movie.
